(not to mention grouchy, too)

I have acquired four new Gretsch guitars in the last three weeks, including an FSR G5422T in Natural (amber stain) with gold hardware, an FSR G5420 with an Ice Blue Sparkle top, a G5655TCB in black, and a limited edition G6128T-1962 in Vintage White lacquer with gold hardware.

While I have previously owned a '67 Country Gentleman and an early G5122, these new Gretschs are the finest Gretsch guitars I have ever played. Just absolutely terrific in every respect.

I still consider myself a Telecaster guy first and foremost, but these new Gretsch guitars are truly wonderful and have garnered the number 2 spot ahead of my Rickenbackers.

A good friend of mine has coined a new nickname for me, Gretscho (not unlike Groucho). I think it fits me well.

Congrats on the guitar scores Gretscho.

I finally got my 1st Gretsch last fall (a Pro Jet) and definitely would like to get another Gretsch.

Whoa, four new Gretsches! That's impressive on it's own. I agree with the build quality on the modern guitars. I bought a used 20011 6120DC recently and it is flawless.

Glad you're enjoying them. I have only one, an MIJ 6122-JR, which is a really nicely made guitar. Someday I'd like to try out a 6128 Thunder Jet Bass, but finding any model Gretsch bass (let alone a top-of-the-line one) in shops around here is a real rarity.

No PICs, Bobby?
