Anybody else notice Alan Ruck playing the astronaut in that Goobers commercial?

He played Cameron Frye in the film Ferris Bueller's Day Off, as well as a bunch of other film and TV roles. Great actor.

I was so happy when Clamfest was scheduled for 5/22. I'd be up from Florida for grandson's grad on 5/21 so I could jam with all the old and Clammers.

So yesterday I'm on the phone with the daughter in Jersey and I mention that I'm gonna be jamming on Sunday in Neptune when she tells me "No, the graduation is on Sunday!!!" Somehow, I got the date wrong. Do you think I'd be in trouble if I skipped the graduation? Yeah, me too.

Damn, I was so looking forward to being back at the OTL for the first time in 3 years. I'm gonna miss you guys.
(sniff).

who ever heard of a graduation being on a Sunday?!!? Sure she is not mistaken?

It is a shame to finally get you back up to NJ and not be able to show up. You could pull a BobO and tell the family that you have to go to the Home Depot and then stop by for a song...jus sayin ;)

^^^^
THIS is why Skype was invented.

So you could attend the Clamfest and still monitor the graduation proceedings!

Gonna miss you, Greggo.

The grandson probably wouldn't miss me much - as long as he got the cash card. But my daughter would lynch me if I didn't go to the ceremony. She still holds a grudge about my moving to Florida.

I know it't too late, so this is more an observation than a request for May. I heard this song (live version) on my MP3 player this morning and thought it the perfect song for a Clamfest or like gathering. I don't recall it being covered at any of the jams I've attended. It has three great guitar parts, group singing (and being off key not fatal), and a story line that resonates with I suspect almost all of us.

Perfect Clamfest Song

**************release the Hounds!********

ok here is the Clamfest Spring 2016 set list (that means its in play order) there is one TBD for the Billy Squire song. Picnic will send me that one once he returns this week from FLA.

You CANNOT edit this list. you MUST send me your pics. Emails have time stamps so first come first served. Beatles and Stones songs are one slot per person NOT per song (we want to spread these around). Rest of the songs work normally

round one gets you 4 pics per slot so that means you can get 4 guitar AND 4 vocals slots (even on the same songs)

kabish? (alternate spelling because capisce looks odd)
