FDP Forum / Fender Guitars: Telecasters / Urethane or Polyurethane?

Mar 1st, 2016 06:11 PM   Edit   Profile

What's used for the finish on a Fender American Standard? Every American Standard that I have seen for sale, the description says it has Urethane Body Finish. It says Polyuerethane on the Fender site. I did a search to see what they both actually are and apparently there is a huge difference between the two. Which one is it, anyone know?
