"Top Wood: Solid African Mahogany
Back and Sides: Wood Mahogany" ... eh?
Guess that means laminate, which can be OK but perhaps not for purists.

One thing's for certain Mr. D: If you buy it & overextend your credit there'll surely be hellhounds on your trail!

Per the detailed description, yes. Alvarez/St. Louis Music likes to change their model numbers every few years (which can make researching older Alvarez guitars a bit aggravating at times), but it seems that the Artist series name still designates solid top & laminated backs & sides.
