Another Vintage find Drip edge AB763 Deluxe reverb..
Not bad... It drove 7 hrs to get to me. I didn't have the heart to leave it there... Big question... I see blackface and Silverface, Drip edge sometimes with Corner protectors on the bottom. When did they start using them? I've seen 1967 Drip edge with and without. Mine is early 67 and without. I do not see any screw holes... Might it have been an option?

Not sure on the corner protectors. Does the tube chart have a code/ink stamp on it?

No just AB763. The aluminum trim is nice, but man does it rattle. Hd to stuff cardboard inbetween. I wonder if it would help if I tape the edges with electrical tape

As far as I know none of the Deluxe Reverbs ever came from the factory with the metal nickel plated corner protectors, neither Blackface or Silverface. As you go up the model line of Amps, the more they cost the more features they came with.

The Vibrolux Reverb came with them as well as bright switches. A few owners added them over the years. Same goes with the tilt back legs, They DR never had them but I've seen quit a few with them added.
