BG, that is an AWESOME build and I love the color.

Hammond, yeah, I know. That fiasco reminded me of the amount of work that went into the FDP LE Strats and basses and we had Fender's full cooperation and support on those.

and... it's not a tele. Home made Shell Pink strat. I think it's the first neck I built and fretted. the shell inlays seemed appropriate.

Pink is good...

The link that jhawkr posted has *THE* sweetest looking tele ever!

I just wasted an hour searching the webs for one... of course I would immediately swap the white pick guard for a mint green one... but dang.... that color on a tele is amazing.

I'm thinking we do a coral pink Tele like BG's with a solid rosewood neck. We get the parts from Warmouth and send them all to Black Gibson or Peegoo.

Who's in?

"When I was a kid I saw these and thought they were pretty lame. As a grown man I am liking them! Do I need testosterone replacement? I am worried that if I continue at this rate I may be buying an Antigua guitar down the road! Any one else like paisley Teles or are these reserved for hippies and Brad Paisley fans?

When I ran a guitar store late 60s - early 70s those were about as salesproof as they come. My predecessor had gotten one each of the blue floral and a paisley and they grew roots. Several years later as they started to grow branches and sproutr leaves I blew them out at losees to get rid of 'em. Who knew?

"Now...the blue flower Telecaster,"

These might have been even harder to sell. But, I must confess that the body of my restored sparkle silver '68 Tele starte life as a late '67 blue floral. (It'll stay our little secret, right?)

It just means that you're secure with your manhood if you can play a pink guitar!
