I was curious if Squier is going to introduce any more Basses from It's China factory because I've heard that the Classic Vibe's are of very good quality and I would like to get something a little different than what they offer now.

Squier at this point typically announces stuff mid-year - all the past releases in recent memory have been Julyish (VI, VM stuff, etc).

I wouldn't worry about "where" as much as "is it what I want" - I have MII and MIC and MIM Squier stuff and it all does what I need.

Price point is also important - the higher end stuff obviously gets a little more bang for the buck.

Very true, I'm not so concerned about where but the higher end Squier basses. $379 seems like a great price from all the reviews I've read. But I've also been told the quality of the products from China are as good as the MIM Fenders.

MIM Fenders are like MII or MIC Squiers in that they're made to particular price point.

The high end MIM stuff is stupid good.

The lower-end MIM is decent as well, but you get what you pay for.

Any of them these days will do the job if you do though.

I have aquired a 2005 Squier Jazz Bass that Is among the first made in China models and it is really nice. Prettier rosewood than my 2014 Fender MIM FSR , no dead spots like the FSR , nicer neck and light weight ash body.
