willie-Using the same kit that's been here. I don't know if that qualifies as being small.
I'm hoping this will work.

edit-Spell check on the iPhone called you willow lol.

willie...willow...whatever...

I have a four piece kit that I keep in my studio (I used to be a drummer many moons ago) that fits a 6x5 square area). 6X6 Should be okay; Especially if the drummers back is against a wall...otherwise there is always the likelihood of falling over backwards...been there and done that. :)

willie-Thanks
Rough framing for stage and riser will be complete today.
Decking goes on tomorrow so, we'll set the drums to check it and make sure.

edit-dang it! It did it again!

"Open the door from garage to hall and see stairs to your left. To your right is the laundry room door and if you're bringing amps you will want to use this way. There is a step up and down coming off the stairs from hall to Jam/Crowd room.
(it will be lighted lol)
If you go thru the laundry room turn left (after the water heater lol) and there is a sliding pocket door. Open and you will see a 4 foot out stage (on right) to set your amps on. Your in the house! These doors are meant to be closed but to get in and out quick they work. Can also store guitar cases on the folding table. "

I may have to just call you when I get there! lol

Will you have the valet parking? It was great last year having the roadies on hand to haul in our gear...

Well, it's possible I'll be bringing a new guitar this year, after all. Got a great deal on an Epi LE Traditional Pro LP (SDOTD).
Edit:
I shouldn't have bought it, but couldn't pass it up at $299. 17th fret was high, I got that whittled down to where it's playable now. In fact, the neck feels really good.
Today, I compared it to my R8 that I paid almost $3000 for in 2006. Big mistake! I can barely tell the difference between the two guitars, the pickups in the Epi are that good. I tried clean tones, dirty tones, went back and forth between the guitars, made a whole bunch of racket. If someone else played them both and recorded it, I'm quite sure I wouldn't be able to tell which was which.
It's a metallic gold with zebra pickups, never been fond of the zebra look, but when you're playing the guitar, who cares?
I'm trying to find something else wrong with it so I can still justify the $$$ I spent on the R8.

Looking forward to hearing this Epi!

Not that we ever follow one anyway, but did you have an updated song list, Ken?
