"Hey"...to Peegoo, Mroulier, Winfield, K9, and anyone else who is jumping in on "Best Friends Girl"...Key of E is original with a speed-up to F on the recording (production decision). Are ya'll bent on Key of F, or might we do this in E? Only asking as this does affect riffs and solos...I'm jes sayin'...

LittleHand, speaking for Winfield, unless he brings his timpani, I'm pretty sure he (the drummer) isn't worried about what key you play it in, so long as you all play it in the same key!

Ok with me, if I have trouble transposing on the fly I'll just use the keyboardists capo aka the MIDI transpose button. Not ashamed to admit.

I have printed three large copies on 11x17 size paper the set list. We can put them in various locations to keep everyone infromed of the queue.

See you all Sunday.

"Well bust my bumpers", says Thomas the Tank Engine! ;^J Looks like it's a go!

@ Peegoo...copy that...you'll do major licks :^J

@ KClasing...thanks for those "pearls of wisdom"...LOL! Though you still have me wondering what the "Cars" would sound like with Timpani??

Oh Lord, Take care of my brother who started off the whole "fam damily" with "Rock n' Roll!
Please don't let him buy ANYmore drum equipment as he's been know to do whenever out of state. :^D

Otherwise...life is good...little or no "woodshed" which wouldn't do me very good anyway as I'd forget it all on my drive to the DC Jam. But I do know the most revered "traveling song"...

Can I have a big "AMEN" on that.....?

Cya at the"Maid".

tiller2, I see you had the calendar updated to show it's a private event.

Thanks man...this will help keep the local troubadours and beanie-wearin' bearded hipsters out.

Marion Barry was rolling in his grave!

What a **fun** jam that was. A dinky little joint, but expertly planned by Supreme Jam Commander tiller2. Everyone played and sang extremely well.

Evan, I think I have a guitar strap that belongs to you.

FANTASTIC JAM People, thank you all; a lot of great talent surfaced today.

OK--Grizbear is back in "Joisey", reclining in his cage, in the secret cave, and going back into hibernation. I did not see my shadow, so I have two more weeks of R&R.

And yes my younger sibling "Littlehand", Mom always liked you best!!!(I'm still trying to figure that one out!!!) and show up on schedule the next time. I'm tired of covering for you all of the time.

By the way! I do not buy drum equipment when I am out of state. I wait till I get home and then I do mail order!!!!

THat was a fun jam yesterday. Enjoyed playing with everyone, and thought everyone really brought some talent to the table.

I recorded the entire event, and have 55 Gb to parse out into songs. I hope to have a link to you all by next weekend.

Fred, looking forward to seeing pics you got.

Lost-n-Found:

Found: very nice custom leather guitar strap with initials on it. Evan, I think this is yours. Please email me (Bsix-tenB@comBcast.Bnet). Delete the capital B's and it will work. Describe the strap and include your mailing address, and I'll UPS it to you.

Found: a fold-up luggage cart. We left it at the venue because Joel (manager) wasn't sure if it belonged to the Electric Maid.

Lost: a real-deal 1959 Les Paul (known as The Beast) that once belonged to Bernie Marsden. If you find it, it's mine, thanks. Haha that's a joke.

Cheers y'all,

Geno
