The mix sounds big and airy. And nice pickin' as always, T.

Both very nice compliments, Geno, thanks very much! Big and airy is a little easier with the small amount of instruments that I used--one acoustic rhythm, one electric rhythm, bass, drums, lead guitar, and vocals. No distortion, all clean, no backup vox till the end. I gave myself a fighting chance by minimizing the potential obstacles.

Sounds great. That country picking is what I want to be able to do when I grow up.

Very cool and funny song Tyrone!

The song sounds more rockabilly than country to me, except for the solos which are very country. Of course these two genres are related.

Thanks very much Dad and 5!

I would put this firmly in the (poop)-kickin' country genre. The vocals, the melody line, the harmonies at the end. And the chord progression could be used for "She'll Be Comin' 'Round The Mountain".

Yes they are certainly related, there's travis picking in the rhythm tracks, but that was country before the rockabilly guys stole it anyhow! (;D
