toIi don't know what I've done to my keyborad, but I can't see what I'm typing. Hopefully the title of the thread will pbe enought. by keyboards.

Well, it appears that starting over again helped me to see what I'm typing. I've read many positive comments about the Retrotrons in general, but in my mind I still associate them with SHBs & HBs, not SBs.

I used these in a Agile Cool Cat flame orange beast with Bigsby to try and grab a Setzer thing. If I had kept the guitar I'd probably have swapped them out for some TV Jones. They didn't sound bad, just very ordinary. Honestly, I think the stock Agile hums had more character.

Can't say what they'd sound like in a solid body.

I put a Retrotron (Memphis, I think) in the bridge of a Squier '51, which is a solidbody, although *maybe* not alder ;^)
Sounds good to me.

Reverend puts their Revtrons in a couple solidbodies.

Not the same thing.GFS Retrotrons are full size, Reverend Revtrons are minis.

Reverend has used the GFS Mean 90 (sort of a copy of the Duncan Phat Cat) in a few of their guitars.
