Anyone have one of these they can measure the DCR for me?

I just got a set (new of the bay) and before I went on to install them, I checked them with my DMM to make sure they weren't DOA.
The neck is measuring 5.79k but I thought it was supposed to be 10.5k (same as bridge)

The Fender site doesn't differentiate between neck & bridge. It just shows:

"DC Resistance: 10.5k ohms
Inductance: 4.2 henries"

I presumed this meant for both pickups.

Can someone verify what the the neck *should* be??
I want to know if I've been duped.

I've sent an email to Fender but asking here in hope of a quicker response.

Thanks

"This page says you're good to go..."

Thanks twang-d, but you must get a different page when viewing in the US.
When I open the link I get the same page I quoted in my OP.

There is no mention of the neck pickup nor a tab for "specs" as per usual.

Thanks for the replies.
I also got an email back from Fender confirming what you have all said.
And, there is indeed a problem with the international Fender site in that the "specs" option is not available (the only site I can access from Oz). At least I'm not totally crazy!

FYI for other non-US members...

I got a tip from a guy at the tdpri that showed me how to access the Fender US site without a redirect to the international site.

By going through the Fender Forum it works like a back door.

"Click on any of the links and you should go to the US version of the website without being redirected to the international version. For parts scroll down to the bottom of the forum home page and click on the relevant link."

Just thought I'd pass it along. It would have saved me (now maybe others) the grief I went through trying to find the simple info I needed.

There you go...

"I am NOT a dentist!"

I can't believe you revived this thread for that!

What's harder to believe is that that you remembered your comment from over a month ago!!!

And FWIW, that guy's an absolute AH in my book!
