Just about the color... blonde is traditionally "see through"... are the Squier White Blonde Strats a solid color or can you see woodgrain? I don't have any locally to check...

I would assume that it's at most only minorly so - thinking of the various White Blonde Squier Teles and 51s I've seen and none are exactly "see through" if that's what you're looking for.

Could call and ask somebody like Sweetwater that will get one in hand and answer questions.
