Ive always found single coil pickups on a strat at the bridge to be an ear icepick, which of the three humbucker pickups in the title would you say would give nicely balanced clean and dirty rock and blues tones ?

It's not just good..

...it's good enough.

Unless they've changed, I don't believe the Quarterpounder is a humbucker.

I had Tele bridge QP years back. Great pickup for rock tones. Eventually, I replaced it because it wasn't very "Tele-like", but I don't think was ever the intent. Big, fat, tones from that beast (no experience with the others).

Also, do you have a tone control on that Strat bridge pickup? If not, I'd wire that up before getting on the pickup replacement merry-go-round.

The Seymour Duncan Lil' 59 or JB Jr. are both really good. I think the JB Jr. is somewhat brighter sounding. Both pickups seen have about the same output.

I have the Lil' 59 Tele in the bridge of my American Series Tele and a JB Jr. in the bridge of my 70's Classic Strat.

Hot Rails and Cool Rails are also pickup options.

Depends on what you play.
