The central-coast geography that made this a logical place for a capital also applies to a jam site. Has there ever been a jam in DC? I would be interested. Anyone else?

Possible venue, but no booze allowed : (

We've done 'em in Fairfax and in Manassas a few times, but never in DC or Alexandria. Did a few up north of Baltimore too.

Would be happy to ride with you, K9, if anything materializes. Otherwise I might not see you until Fall Clamfest...jams are getting scarce these days :-(

Thanks for chiming in, I will be looking for venue possibilities. Still at the dreaming stage, though.

well the DC rockers and FlashBand have used a variety of venues in the area
last month we had one in Flannigan's Harp & Fiddle in Bethesda and one at Club Heaven & Hell

there are also a variety of sound studios and rehearsal spaces. one even has a small stage like set up. I forget the name and I'm sure about alcohol... need to look up some names

but I'm in

June 20 & 27 and July 11 & 18 are what's open for me.

If there is minimal support here, I'll call some venues (maybe with SteveCarlo?).

If we are too much into summer, then I will get an earlier start on this idea for 2016.

Possible on those June dates

July dates,not so much
11th / family reunion
18th / Atlanta jam

I have all kinds of gear to lend to the cause.

Haven't been to Jumbo Jimmy's in a while. Last I heard, Bob bought out Doug, and then Bob sold the joint.
