It was a great jam, and thanks again, zenland, for all your hard work. Thanks again to busta and mojo for making the trek to the Big House. We'll have to do it again.

Ken, I think I left a guitar stand at your house. If you find it, let me know.

If it's a small Morley yep, I did. Since the shipping charges would be stupid why don't you just hang on to it & next time I'm over that way I'll holler.

I only use it when I play lap steel so I really won't miss it.

Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks, Ken. If you'd just put my stand over in a corner, I'll pick it up next time...or sooner if'n I need it.

Amp knob update: l'm happy to report that the broken amp knob has been replaced on my Vintage Sound, so zenland can finally rest easy.. 😉

Short term, I removed the knob from the reverb dwell control on the back, and installed in place of the broken one. But the stock knobs didn't have brass inserts, so they would potentially break if you sneezed at them So I'm replacing them all with Fender replacement knobs with brass inserts, and don't think I'll have that problem again.

Great to hear you got the knob replaced! Sorry to hear you have to replace all of them though! :(

Man that amp sounded great at the jam!

Thanks, Bill. Yout Four Aces was incredible (no surprise), but I'm still amazed at how loud it was...and you weren't to having it dimed. It hung with anything that was thrown at it,

Re: the knobs, I was going to purchase some new knobs similar to the stock ones on Amazon, but one of the reviewers noted that - because they didn't a metal shaft - they were subject to cracking if the set screw were tightened too tight. Valuable insight that I wouldn't have considered, so I opted for some with brass inserts from an amp supply house. They were very inexpensive piece of mind.

mistermullens, We can do that! 😁 guitargeezer-Before I even touched it I could see it was split. Didn't think it was going to fall apart and yes it did freak me out! Great sounding amp and very easy to dial in. Definitely a keeper or have I spoken to soon? 😇
Yeah I could hear Bill's 4 Aces upstairs. Great tones!

Really don't think there was a bad tone in the house although the speaker in the Budda has now been replaced with the original. Got to have those old Jensen's looked at and fixed.
Something wasn't right for sure.
All in all it was a blast!

Thanks guys, I really wasn't sure about bringing a 4W amp and I'm glad it held up, and I appreciate the compliments on the tone. But, as Ken mentioned, there wasn't a bad tone in the house!

Hope you get the Jensen speaker problem sorted out!

I don't get many chances to play out any more, I play in church and that's about it since I quit the band I was in. I haven't been making any of the local jams this year, because of my work schedule. Therefore, I really appreciate the opportunity to jam with others, especially the quality of talent that shows up at these FDP jams!
I just want to thank the zenmeister again, for hosting it and for all the work you put into doing this year after year! I know we all look forward to it, but for me it is a special treat! Seriously!!! Already can't wait till next year!

So I'm sitting out here on the back slab with my android tablet talking into it and it's typing out what I say, how cool is that?
lol

Mrs Zen said that this place needs to be a lot cleaner for next year so bring your white gloves haha.

Mojo and and guitar geezer if you need your stuff sooner just let me know and I will mail it to you just send me your mailing address thanks.

The new old Super Reverb sounds great but still is going to need to go to willie for tweaking. It's a blast to play and I love the tones but going to need to get that little bit of extra mojo out of it that I know it has in it.

Bill, it really is a lot of fun because I get to do what I enjoy for a number of days with smoking meats and preparing the foods that I think everyone enjoys. I also appreciate you folks bringing appetizers/cookies and the like.

As usual I invited everybody that I can, especially the FTP folks should say FDP. But, I'm glad that everybody that can show up, does show up.

It's always a lot of fun!

Thank you all!

Well, if it sticks around until next year, I may have a new pedal to showcase at the jam. The Atomic Cock!
Fixed wah position pedal with gain. I got it today, and so far....it's a lot of fun!!! Sounds great with the ES339 through the Blackjack 21!

Bill-I checked that thread and the video on the Atomic Cock. That's a cool pedal and looking forward to hearing you use it so bring the 339 with the AC!
😀

Gotta say the Super Reverb just keeps on impressing me! Using the Voodoo Labs Giggity pedal and the flashback delay with the SR is Fantastic!!!

In other news...The Raves will play the IPO festival in December. Date to be determined but will probably be 12/5/15.

Thanks, I'll bring it if I still have it!
Glad you're enjoying the SR and The Raves are playing the festival. That's cool!

I'm getting back together with my last band to play an outdoor festival next month, we'll see how it goes after that. I've gotten a few other offers to play with people also, but nothing concrete yet. :(

Ken, do you know if there are any more slots for the IPO? I don't know much about it, but we'd love to play it if it suits us.
