A step up from the previous one, part 2 is edited and will be up today at some point.

This is the first one I've used cropping for closeups and a couple other techniques.

Thanks Tyrone. Think I know what I may spend some time doing this weekend. The opening drum solo reminded me of Ritchie Blackmore on "Flight of the Rat".

Wow...loving that improv stuff at about the 8 minute mark. That's exactly the kinda groove I've never been able to reach. Off to the guitar room I go to experiment with all of this.

Nice work.

Sweet man. Love the free ride lesson. There are some many little nuances to playing that aren't picked up a lot of the time.

Thanks all!

Slacker, that's how I play 90+% of the time, right hand always in the groove. There are some licks that are exceptions, but I try to keep them to a minimum.

Playing in Top-40 bands for years, lots of funk and r/b music did me a world of good.

It took me some time to figure out how to turn that lick/progression around. I kept trying to play right back into it instead of counting and using the crux of the lesson as a well, lesson. The story of my guitar life. I get too excited about getting something right that I forget about the next step.
