what I'm famous for

This is a great interview with Steve Morse. Even if you're not a fan of his solo stuff or his work with The Dregs and as touring guitarist with Kansas and Deep Purple, it's money in your pocket.

As usual, he has zero ego here. A very humble and supremely talented and fearless player.

He offers plenty of insight on how to be a better player, how to be open minded, and how to fit into a situation where the fans expect certain things and you have to deliver--while maintaining your own identity as a player.

Take notes. There will be a quiz.

Absolutely. I've never spent much time listening to his music (and I need to correct that) but I love his interviews and lessons. He is absolutely a monster player and like so many of the best, humility comes easily to him. Something for everyone to learn from him.

Seems like a really cool laid back dude who kills on guitar. Just loves to play and does simply that.
