That's really really where I'm from!

I have to buy a b'day gift for my 10 year old son who plays the keyboards. Should I get him a sustain pedal or a volume pedal? Or any other recommendations? Thank you!

I have a Roland ep-76o. It came with a sustain pedal and I like having it. I have a cheap Yamaha keyboard which does not have a sustain pedal and I've never cared for the abrupt cut-off of sound when I take my fingers off the keys.
