FDP Forum / The Squier Forum / Odd Serial Number on USA Squire

May 4th, 2014 09:02 PM   Edit   Profile

I bought a Fender Squire, Made in USA sometime in the 80's or 90's from an authorized Fender dealer. It is white and has a serial number of 0822 stamped in black ink on the head, front side just below the "Made in USA decal. There is no letter preceding the number. I can't find any information on serial numbers of this type anywhere. I vaguely remember the guitar being available in red, white or blue at the time of purchase. Also something about Squires made in USA normally made for export to Canada. Help please?
