when jags were first issued in 62, what were the color choices that people went with?

i am interested in how they are reflected now.

I remember seeing sunbursts for the most part.

While I can't say which colors Jags came in at first, I remember seeing a lot of Olympic white ones in the 60's.

I suppose that might have partly been due to Carl Wilson playing one, as well as the Astronauts and other surf artists.

Yeah, it was mostly sunburst and Oly White for the early Jags, both with tortoise guards. A few custom colors (very few) that I recall, CAR, LPB, BLK, with white guards. Fanciest I ever saw in person was one in Burgundy Mist Metallic with gold hardware and a shell guard. This was at Fullerton Music on Harbor Blvd. in the 60's (my hometown).
