Boulevard, by Jackson Brown.

When's the last time you heard a band play that one? Probably Jackson Brown. Put me down for guitar!

Ok the Google Docs are ready.
remember we have "New" rules to control sound and be able to hear everyone.

only 3 guitar slots. This is great news for the acoustic players. The Eagles tunes and others sound great with an acoustic so you will be heard this year

Only 1 drum kit- sorry sluggers but with 2 drum kits the guitars turn up to compete and then its a runaway train for volume

with only 3 slots per song there are only 159 guitar slots (well a few more since all who are left can play on the finale song)

There will be 1 lead vocal mic- the rest of the mics will not be as hot so backing vocals don't overpower lead vocals

the lead mic will be marked and so herding the cats will be easier

like last year the vocalist on the song that just ended will announce the line up for the next tune

pick only 5 songs this go round so we can share the love. That's 5 per slot so if you play and sing that's 5 for your instrument and another 5 for vocals. Backing vocals do not count for your vocal slots- we encourage everyone to participate in backing vocals

The Google docs is locked for read only- only I can update - so you must email me your picks. Posting to the forum will not get you on the list

we are going to cut back on the PA too. I just got a set of Yamaha 2way cabs that will sit on the set of yammy 3way cabs already here. Peegoo's 4 floor monitors for the singers and 2/3 monitors for the drum/bass/key positions will do what we need done.

What is the consensus of Clammers on posting keys on the song list?

I noticed a couple of songs feature alternate keys and tuning.

there was one tune that was originally in Ab but I also put A so no one has to tune down a half step. The key and arrangement is dictated by the players on that tune so those on Walk Away for instance can contact each other to see what key they want to do it in. Normally we do it in the recorded key unless its tuned down then we do it in the key that does not require a detune but in the end its up to the players on that song

Keys on songs are preferred and if you send them to me I will post them in the key column

Once the list is solidified then I link to charts
