Brought home a Super-Sonic today. Fender calls it dark gunmetal flake, but I'll swear it's purple. And it's sparkly!

Having a 24" scale in the stable is nice (haven't had it since I sold my Classic Player Jaguar). Guitar plays nicely. Out to look nice in the lights!

I guess I'm in the honeymoon phase, but I'm really bonding with this guitar. Love the feel of it! The 24" scale is very comfortable, and I really like the neck.

I'm considering adding pickup covers. Never been a fan of the "zebra" exposed coil look, so I think the covers will improve the looks.

Thanks for the kind words, Peegoo!

Pickup covers are installed - see pics in profile. I like it!

Also had the pickups slightly lowered. Really seemed to smooth out the tone. Loving this guitar right now.

I bought the Squier version in 98 or 99, still have it. Actually its my daughter's, she still has it, sparkle blue, really cool guitars.
