John Page era, 1987-1998 imho at least. John worked at Fender for several years before 1987, but his best years were the work he put into creating the Fender Custom Shop with Mr Schultz in '87. I have several of John's CS work, and they are incredible instruments, possibly as good as anything to ever come out of the Fender Custom Shop.

John is making guitars again, in limited numbers, at johnpageguitars.com, so maybe the "era" continues to be written.
