So....any update on when this may happen? I have a couple of these wooden things with 6 strings on 'em that I knew how to play at one time in my life....

"foreigners"

Some of our best jams have been with people from Wisconsin, New York, Chicago and LA.

Hey Mike - good to see your post - I'm still able and willing.

Haven't seen or heard much from corvairfan in a long time and opdev was out in CA last I heard.

Opdev is back. SKI is in Maine now. Don't know what Swede or Corvairfan are up to - have not heard from either in a while. Not sure where we could hold a jam these days. Anyone have a suggestion?

I know about SKI. Corvairfan got married last year and changed his legal name but haven't heard from him in a long time now. JP left his band, retired and is doing jams and fishin', haven't heard much from Swede in quite awhile now either.

Swampyankee here, back after a long hiatus, from the FDP and playing. I'm just scraping the rust off my chops at this point, but I might be interested in jamming.
Not sure where we could gather. The last time I attended an FDP jam it was put together by Corvairfan IIRC, and hosted by a pub in East Japepe (Abington, MA) I think.
Professor, are you still down along the Sakonnet River with that wonderful barn/jam space?

"garp, it would be great to have a *real* keys player too!"

well...

If any of the Jersey crew feels like taking a ride up too, "this" (New York) keys player might be able come up too and bring the big Leslie and the rest of my keys rig.

Suggestion -- just heard on the radio over the weekend that Players Sports Bar in Rockland (site of the last FDP Jam, I believe) has an open blues jam on Sundays from 4-8 PM. Why don't we all just show up for that some day, and make it an FDP event? No PA to worry about, everything taken care of, just show up and play?
