I own a Fender Ultra Chorus from 1993...one of the last solid states to be made in the u.s.a....nowadays you can buy a 100watt marshall of Fender solid state head mad ein china for 200 bucks...but this stereo 85 watt combo of mine if retailed today with inflation bran new would be just over a grand...it'sdef. of a higher calibre than these mass produced over seas solid state...but still i have an american deluxe Strat that is crying out for an all tube amp....

just wondering (link below) if anyone has any experience with these...i have in the past owned 2 80 watt traynor (one 2x12" and one 4x10")...suprisingly they weren't as loud at all as what one would expect...and the tone wan't what i was after...however i have heard that the speakers in these new custom Traynors are top notch and that they truely crank out 90 watts (with a switch for 20 watts) as well as several features (see link)...one thing i do know is that i need lots of volume in my band and distortion.

any info appreciated...hope this is the right forum.
