I have this rim that came on my 18" Slingerland floor tom (used tom).

It's not the typical Slingerland *Stick Saver* type rim (inward curve) and I don't know what it actually is.

What drum maker used this type lip on their rims?

For a while, Gretsch used a similar rim, but I’ll bet there were others, too.

The Gretsch USA rims are a cast rim, the triple flanged like from the original post are stamped from a strip of metal.

Hard to say from that picture who made that rim most drum companies use that kind of rim in their lineup, could just an aftermarket replacement rim.

It's hard to tell by the pic but that looks like a '60s vintage Rogers Tallboy rim.

I need one of those for my 18" floor tom project. How many lugs?

8 lugs ... but it's gone now. Sold on eBay. I was asking here because I didn't know what brand to list it as. it was a very pristine piece too :(

That's OK. My vintage Rogers 18 is a 10 lug. Kinda rare.
