I got an e-mail from Apple the other night about the 10 year anniversary and possibly pulling together a jam. He was thinking something in memory of Seth and Spazz would be cool and I agree.

The 10 year anniversary would target October 28th.

Opinions, options, thoughts?

I'm in whatever the date but the 28th might be too soon to pull off.

Flexible is good. I'd hate to see anyone miss out because of trying to conform to a date.

Cool link Apple and thanks for the spark. I also agree that flexible is good. I have e-mailed a bunch of the locals I keep in contact with. Anyone else who can reach out to the original gang, please do the same.

We need to track down Blueswoman and 3Strats, MarcO, the Mystery Mullet Dude, Eli (and
hat), SteveS, SnakeBoy, Mike and Jimmy the drummer and lead guitar player from my band at the time who also ran sound, and Gweimer's old drummer Denny.

We're interested.

The first Ohio jam we got to was at Pete's in Cleveland, 2/03. Close enough to 10 years for me.

I'm still in touch with Denny. He's doing some solo guitar gigs, and also drums for Scotty Anderson.

I just had a FB conversation with Mike the drummer in my old band Billie Mitchell and he gave me Jimmy our guitar player's number. Jimmy ran sound that night and Mike did a lot of the drumming. Our band was booked that weekend and provided the PA. Just getting together with those two will be a reunion for me.

Count me in. My weekends are still a gamble with the work schedule, but I would burn a vacation day for this.
I would love to go back to the original scene of the crime Hill Station, just because.
Are they still in business?

I'm in too, depending on when it is. Told you about the 28th and that *Might* be workable, but I kind of doubt it at this point. We'll see on that.

I tried to email 3 strats but her email on the FDP profile isn't active and blueswoman doesn't have one listed. I thought it would be especially cool if they were there too. I know they were based out of Columbus.

I tried to cantact MarcO too. In the afterglow of the jam me and Jan met up with Marco, Hank Hill and Uncle Pat to see Buddy and Julie Miller with Peter Case at the Southgate House in Newport. That was only two weeks after the jam in mid November.

Is anyone still in contact with MarcO?

SteveS used to come to a lot of the jams too. I think I may be able to reach him through a guy at work who went to school with Steve's girlfriend.

To Uncle Pat: I just called Hill Station and they're still in business.

To Snakeboy: Are you still in touch with Eli and Bornblue? I've been reading the archived Blue Hole thread and reliving the experiece. Bornblue had never been to an open jam and regretted not sitting in. This is his second chance.

Hey apple -
I've not been in contact with Bornblue for a long time.
I run into Eli every blue moon or so, but that's about it. We were in a band about 3 years ago, but the wheels fell off.

I've pretty much sold off most of my equipment as well - still got a few guitars and a little amp though.
