So, I'm watching my pennies these days, like everyone else (...actually watching my dollars become devalued to pennies with the way prices are going up, but that's probably off-limits around here...)

...but I'm being slightly tempted to finally plunk down the money for one of the Harm quasi-hollow bodied guitars from Rondo. I have another guitar with P-90's, but it has a 25.5" scale on a solid hog body/neck set up. The Harm has the Gibson scale and a maple neck...I'm thinking it would sound different enough to fill a different sonic place. And these are just sorta retro cool looking! And light at around 7 pounds!

I know a couple other folks around here have these...usually the lefties come with only a couple options for pickups (2 P-90's or 2 mini-buckers).

Any other opinions from past or present owners?

OK, I sold mine locally over the summer. But when I got it I had it set up by one of the local gurus who knows what he's doing.

The guitar played great...they need a good set up and would benefit from upgrades to the hardware (bridge eapecially). Mine had the mini humbuckers which were fine for my needs.

They are nice guitars and if Rondo opens custom orders for them you can get personal with it.

I see where they're taking customized orders on the AL series right now. Tempted but saving for something else.

I had one for a short time, sold it on ebay couple years back. The P90s are pretty good on this model. Hardware upgrades are needed, main reason it is gone.
