(I've got a Facebook page but I don't use it much and don't know how to respond to notifications -- my lack of response there isn't intended as a snub.)

I'd love to jam and the 20th would work for me. As usual I don't have a venue, but Stumpy's was great, it's close to the Arlington Guitar Show, and IIRC they were open to us doing it again.

Allright! Some interest!!! Lets keep kicking this around, spread the word best we can. I loved jammin at Strokers, dont know if thats an option this time, Stumpys was good, but we had to cut out by 9 last time! Me and my son can come to wherever - I can double on bass if needed but I dont have a rig for that

I can probably make it.

Stumpy's always has a band playing on Saturday night, so that's the only issue there.

Oh, and some percussion! I have a couple people I'll check with but don't know if they'll be available - anyone else? Keyboards would be cool too! Had them in April but never heard them used!

Sounds like fun! I can provide bass rig (same as the Stroker's jam - 500 watt 6 x 10 Ampeg rig) and can play on a few tunes if needed. Just keep me piosted as to time / location

"Coming from Kansas with my lefty geetar!"

You better bring a mirror to straighten you out...LOL

I am left handed but in the mid sixties when I learned to play they only had left handed guitars available by special order in our area of Dallas/Ft. Worth so I learned to play a righthanded guitar and complained for months "I wish it was left handed". Now I couldn't play left handed if I tried.

I called the booking agent for Strokers, they're booked. I asked her to call me if she comes up with a decent place with a stage, but I think we need to find our own place soon!!

I checked with the Main Street Liquid Company (the bar in Richardson where we used to do the Dallas Guitar Show Jams) but they're already booked for that weekend.

A couple years ago I booked a pre-jam warm-up jam in a rehearsal facility on Greenville Ave. They don't serve food or drinks, there's not much seating, and the only audience would be whoever we bring with us. The rehearsal rooms have PA's and mics. It's $95 for 5 hours. They have a rehearsal studio in Arlington (and several other locations).

I don't care about food/drinks or having an audience, but in years past I've gotten the impression that I'm the only one who feels that way. So I haven't checked availability yet. Y'all check out the link and see if you'd be interested.

(I'm pretty broke and can't front the money for any rental, though I'll be glad to kick in $20 or so if someone does rent a room somewhere.)

I could donate $20 for a rehearsal hall.

And, I think I can get a drummer on the 20th.

Has anyone checked with Monte Carlo in Arlington?

Or the Stadium Lounge in Arlington?

If those places don't have anyone booked, they could be good locations.

I checked with the Atomic Subs Sports Bar, but they don't feel like they are big enough for an electric jam.
