Just seen a Used NOS 1960's Custom Shop Tele in Honey blonde for $2000

its got a few dings and scrapes

Dang what do i do do i get it or wait Fadehooks Reverse firebird has also got me gassing and its half the price!

But a honey blonde tele with rosewood board another of my dream guitars

Man, I know what you are going through....a Custom Shop for 2k that would be a tough decision. Lots of groceries can be had for what you would have left over by buying the Firebird. However I can't give any advice and don't want to sway your pick. I have four Telecasters and Luv em !! Good luck with your puzzlement.

Hey Fade

it's a 2012 with 9.5" board and the dings and scrapes are minor i can probably swing both

as my tax refund would cover probably cover both guitars

but im going to leave it a week or two and if its still there problably pull the trigger

now if it was a nocaster it'd be on the next plane across

this is why i cant stand the internet

For me ... if I could swing both then ... bang bang! Should a Firebird be in the future for you.... you will notice the bridge position of the FB will give you a tele twang with that "in the barrel" bass resonance.

It was pre-destined by the Guitods (Guitar Gods). You were meant to own a reverse Firebird. Don't fight it--just do it.

Once you have it in your home and plugged into your amp, all the truths of the universe shall be revealed to you.
