So I'm going to check out, and most likely buy this 62 olympic white refin Jag. I'm getting a killer price on it, and just want to know what things I should look out for, in terms of the possibility of it being a knock off or something.

They guy claimed that under the pickguard, are the letters "SB" marked by sautering iron, to show that it was originally sunburst, and he thinks it was factory refined between 63 and 67.

So any pointers on what to look out for.
