There have been three songskirmishes so far at 50/90 -- and I have missed them all. But I like this title, so I did it late. Probably a second take with one mic (guitar/vocal) and then I added a 2nd guitar. I don't care for the through dangerous bends line so I will probably replace it with 'round perilous bends. A couple of awkward lines and blips and bleeps (always hard when are try to read the lyrics/chord changes while recording!), but it is OK for now. Comments always welcome. Enjoy!

My most trusted friend
is a little bit sad
and it breaks my heart to see it so
I wish I could send
some joy in the mail
and watch her light up and glow

My most trusted friend,
My most trusted friend,
I could always count on you
the ups and downs
through dangerous bends
you were always
My most trusted friend

My most trusted friend
is a under a black cloud
is there anything I can do to ease her blues
it doesn't seem fair
think I'll go there now
'cause that's what friends do

My most trusted friend,
My most trusted friend,
I could always count on you
the ups and downs
through dangerous bends
you were always
My most trusted friend

the singing and playing was very well done. your vocals are stronger than i remember from a year or so ago when i last listened to some of your stuff.

overall as a song it works well. good structure, not too short nor too long. i like the stripped down simplicity as well. as far as lyrics go, well we have very different styles.

i enjoyed this one. very good job!
