Has anyone else noticed this? It's supposed to be a fun practice amp. Anyone tried one?

I had one of the original G-Dec's, it was a lot of fun. That's a great deal, I tempted to order one.

I just ordered one. I used the FDP MF link from the top, not the one in this thread to be sure that its tied to the FDP.

I have a bunch of backing track CD's that I can put on the SD cards and use the ones from Fender. Even if I'm using one of my tube amps for the guitar.

I can always sell it in a few years for close to the $99.00

Also, for the high rollers, the 30w 1x10 is $100 more.

CVH are your links tied through the FDP just in case someone would order via your link?

Good question. Maybe Chris Greene or a mod could answer that. I got to the MF link I posted through the FDP site, and then copied the MF URL into my link. I assume the "FDP connection" then stays with the link if someone clicks on it from the FDP, but that would be a technical question and I don't know the answer.

Sounds like you did everything you could to have it linked to the FDP.

Thanks

5Strats, is the G-DEC speaker wired to the chassis via a 1/4" jack or is it hard-wired? I'm wondering if the 15w might make a nice "full of bells and whistles" head for a 12" cab at bedroom volume.

Just save the item id or search on the title of the item at MF or GC or our other sponsors after clicking at the top of the page.

There's a referrer id they use to track (and I assume use generic referrer out of server logs as well) for sure.

Also can thank them for supporting the FDP if you get survey invites or on the 'how was your order' or comments sections. I know I do. ;0

reverendrob, so are you saying if someone clicks on a link like I posted and places an order, the FDP doesn't get credit? And instead we should write down the item number and "start fresh" from the MF button?

Item number, search term, whatever is easiest for you from the FDP button if you want to be absolutely sure.

Some places have different (I won't say 'more intelligent' here, honest) tracking.

Thanks for the heads up CVH!

Bam!

Picked up the G-Dec 3 Thirty, foot pedal controller, and AC/DC SD card.

Great deal! I've been wanting this set up for a while.

Oh ya. It showed up on 5-10. Very cool practice amp. Sounds really good.

I'm not totally up to speed with it yet as I've been pretty busy lately.

It's great to play along with!

I haven't even popped in my AC/DC sd card yet.

I picked up the 30 watter from our local Guitar Center last Thursday. Took me a while to convert it into a "Blues Special Edition", as software and hardware thingys never seem to work the way they're supposed to in the manual. But it was worth the trouble.

Highly addictive!

So are they just completely discontinuing the G-DEC line? Has the Mustang supplanted it? Looks like the 15 is discontinued and I'd assume the 30 is blowout pricing while they last.

The G-DEC 30 is now $149.99 at MF. The pedal is a little more than half that. How essential is the pedal?
