I'm stuffed.
My office mate and I moved to a new office this morning. Due to downsizing a couple window offices became vacant.
Our manager approached us and offered one of them to us saying "I have to take care of my top performers".
As a little celebration we ordered Chinese for lunch.
I had chicken with Chinese Vegetables with pork fried rice and an egg roll.
What's your favorite?
BTW, the entire group is moving to other office space in a few months so we will be in a cubical farm when that happens. We will enjoy it while it lasts though.

Although I love chinese food, for lunch it's like a tranquilizer dart in my butt. I'm bogged down for the rest of the day.

We have two good Chinese buffets in town so I don't have to pick just one.

No a big fan of the Chinese buffets here.
I don't think the foods very good and it is a little on the expensive side.
Stratluvr,
I know what your saying, even though I only ate about half of the fried rice it feels like a brick in my gut.

We actually have three but only two are good and all are owned by Chinese folks. We do not have a decent stand alone order-from-the-menu Chinese restaurant.
But in general, I agree that buffet anything is usually not as good as freshly prepared dishes.

I would imagine you have many better ethnic food choices in your location than we do here.

SandBagger reminded me of a funny story.
When my wife and I were first married we frequented a Chinese takeout place near us.
My wife like the chicken and the sauce in Moo Goo Gai Pan but doesn't like mushrooms. So she would order Moo Goo Gai Pan, hold the mushrooms.
After a few months like this I was picking up our order one night and the ancient tiny Chinese cook (who you could see from the counter) started yelling at me in broken english, "how come you order moo goo gai pan no mushroom! Moo goo! mushroom!" and then proceeded to rant in Chinese for a bit, waving his arms around.
I thought it was pretty funny.
The owner (son?) was pretty funny too.
Had a big sign next to the register that said "CALM DOWN!"
Guess he had to keep reminding himself cause he was a nut too.

You can't get good Chinese around here, other than P.F. Changs.
Peking Gormet in Falls Church, VA is THE BEST Chinese food I've ever had anywhere. Nothing comes close.
