There have been some rough times but from me being a complete zero when we got together and today where I do well and provide well its just amazing. My kids are grown and healthy, my wife loves her job (same place I work) its just humbling and I have time to appreciate what we have.
Someone has been in my life saving me from failure, I feel blessed, not lucky. It has been a tough last year and I savor life and what tomorrow brings. Not counting the bills that come in of course but we have had a pretty good life.
My wife is still mourning her parents as well as me, but we have lots of memories and each other. My health is getting better and she is healing from the losses.
I have grown since my mishaps! It sux when you have to be reminded of an anniversary but thats me.

Marriage isn't easy. Been there twice 16 years each. My wife second wife of 16 years and I had a "moment" about an hour ago. She was crying, and I asked, "what's wrong sweetie."?
"Just wanted to make sure that you still loved me." Still love you? Hell girl, you were by my side thru two cancer operations and untold other nasty procedures. I love you to pieces and always will!
My last wife, and this is a terrible thing to say. If the county mounties had knocked on my door at 3AM and said, your wife was killed in a car accident, I'd have thought, "well, that saved me a lot a of legal bills." I know that's a horrid thing to say, but you didn't live with her for 16 years.
My current wife, had I gotten the same call, I have no idea how I could go on, I love her that much.
Congrats again Therealfrogman, and may you love you wife the way I love mine. Cheers and congrats!
