Here's the real show report. The show was amazing! Might have been the best GPN show I've ever seen, and it's too bad geezer had to leave. Really, really great! Grace, as always, was hot as hell. We were in the balcony as well, but I couldn't get any good pics. They just weren't coming out. They're latest album hasn't been my favorite, but as usual, their live performance of the songs really brought the album to life. They never disappoint. Awesome show!

A few months back, I think it was Willie, mentioned throwing out a few mikes & such to put the acoustic stuff through d'PA.

What-cha think zen ? It'd be pretty cool...we've got the gear for it. ;-O

(of course we'd keep 'em downstairs so as not to haul all that stuff to the LR ) ;_-O

willie,

All jams at Uncle Don's are shows *and* jams. Kinda like an fdp jam- you start out with one bunch of guys then another then another. As the day evolves so does the music- you can stay as little or as much as you want.

I've seem some very good players, and everyone has a laid back easy attitude- no pressure at all.

It's a cool house with plenty of other rooms to give your ears and fingers a break.

I'll be there at 4 and will need to leave by 8. If I get to play in that time span cool...If not that's cool too...Hangin out with good friends is always a blast at these jams. Good times!

If you have The Raves CD Past Perfect Tense you heard the tune Every Little Bit Hurts. Well...here is a different take on it from another band.

I'll post again to show how this came about with a book (yes!) trailer and the story behind it.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year's!

I'd like to throw this out there, and if we don't get any takers, no worries. As some of you may know, Tim and I are working on getting a project together. I was wondering if you band guys might be willing to have us open for you? You know, play for 45 mins to an hour before your regular set. We're looking to get some stage time, besides open mics, before we really start booking gigs, and we'd do it for free. Let me know, and again, if there are no takers, no worries!

We're doing both, but as of right now it's just a duo. We're pretty close to having enough songs, originals & covers, under our belt as a duo to start filling out the rest of the band soon. Hopefully no later than March.

We'll be happy to play at the next jam!
