I recently emailed Weber with a technical question regarding the MASS Lite and mentioned that I needed to get a new unit to replace the one I had stolen at a gig. Here is the reply they sent me in less than 15 minutes.

That has always been my experience. A very flexible approach to making sure their customers are satisfied, with good recommendations along the way. Both my amps have Webers. And I've had many other Webers in former amps over the years. Great folks.

5 Weber spears in house at the moment ! Have some of their amp tools, as well. Ditto the good vibes and service.

Ted (P.B.U.H.) was a real-deal goodguy. I spoke with him several times over the years, and he was always very generous with information and advice--which sometimes ran counter to his own business goals (gave me references to his competitors, etc.). He genuinely cared for his customers.
I still do business with Weber and they are carrying the flag high and proud. Two big thumbs up!

Just put in new Blue Dawg alnico and Silver Bell ceramic speakers into a 2-12 cab. They sound awesome together.

Bought a Z-Matcher and it works great and is high quality. And very useful matching various heads and cabs.
And just ordered one of the new T-shirts and a tremelo bug! Big spender.

urby - I have the same combo in my Fuchs 2 x 12 semi open. Both 50W engines. Not quite as loud as a Celestion Gold but just as tasty.

Fritz-I think that's a pretty common combination of speakers. I also have the 50 watters that I use in an open back cab while using my Clark MTC 45 head. The sound just sings.

I'll add my opinion - I bought one of their Bias-Rite meters. yes, the one with the bad rep. Real life got in the way, and I estimate it was at least 6 months before I had a chance to try it. Yep, got a bad one, no detent cicks between A-B-C-D, when actually tesing tubes, both tubes registered exactly the same as the A socket. Swapped tubes, and again both tubs reistered the reading of the A socket - and neither first or second trials had close to the same results.
I emailed CJ, hoping for a discount (at best) on a new unit, he responded that there had been problems with some bad components, so send the version 1 back, not that they they would repair it, but REPLACE it with version 2. And didn't charge me return shipping.
Another time they were blowing out some blem chassisss, after the first order I couldn't find any blem,so I placed a second order. This time they sent 2 Bassman chassis instead of 2 Bandmaster. i called, got Ted, he said keeo the Bassman, and he sent the Bandmaters the next day.
Props all around as far as I'm concerned, and I can't complain about the speakers either.

I talked with Ted many times on email and phone. Such a great guy who took whatever time you needed to get the right product for you. I did not know he was only six months older than me. Way too young to pass away.
