I've always though the Wildcat looked cool and I don't have any Bigsby-equipped guitars. Hmmmm . . .

Not part of this sale but perhaps worth mentioning: I was at Best Buy and saw an Epi G400 'SG Collection' Lim. ed. in a flamey Root Beer burst. Took it down and wow: nice fat neck, well balanced, good playability, delicious finish, Alnico V pups. At $449 it was probably worth it.

So a downside but maybe not a deal breaker?

Cheesy tuners.
I had a 2005 and swapped pickups with my Reverend
Charger HB. Sounded way better than my Gibson Les Paul Studio and my Epi LP Standard.
All three are gone but the ceramic Epi humbuckers stayed in my Reverend because they flat out rawk.

Just the tuners, which can be replaced with proper ones for 10 bucks.

Yeah I am really considering pulling the trigger on a Wildkat even though I need to save the cash towards a new amp. I really want an axe with P90's again. I think $299 for that guitar is a really good deal.

The 339 is my favorite new axe. It'd be cool if they did one with P90s, though.
