Hi, I am finally having to sell my old Fender as I am getting married this year and just don't give it the time it deserves.

I bought it about 10 years ago in a local music store for about £300 and have gigged recorded and toured with it, however now I have come to find out more about it I am struggling to find details.

I thought it was a Music master that had been customised (it has a humbucker (seymour duncan) added to the bridge (looking at the routing this is def not a fender job)

The Headstock only displays 'fender ' and the serial (S704417)

I had the neck off to check for any identifying marks, (didnt notice anything on the heel) the rear neck stamp says ''J Serna' with a number 3274

The scratchplate is also not that common with the other music masters I have seen have added a pic

Musicmaster?

Looks to be a 1996-era "black label" Duo Sonic, made in Mexico.

Read the FDP FAQs about for-sale adverts.

Cheers!
