Two different rigs w/ some similarities---
Vox AD50VT (2005 model) hybrid 112 combo on the AC30TB channel.
Vox Tonelab (2007 model) hybrid processor amp also on AC30TB channel through a late 1990's Fender PR65 solid state 112 combo.
All the goods I needs....

I have one Tele, an old 52 RI and I have only tube amps. I have to say, it really sounds sweet with all of them.

I like my Telethrough a Deluxe Reverb (my "blackfaced" '77 SF model to be specific), but I think they can sound good through almost any tube amp that has decent "clean" tone.
Hey, Teleman, a friend of mine has a GU-12 like yours, but he's struggling to find a good speaker for it. What do you use?

...truth is the Telecaster is such a versatile guitar that it can sound almost anything depending upon the player/setup. There is NO definitive sound...!

For true clean warm tone, with reverb to die for and bias vary trem (making the swamp appear instantly) there is no other choice than my '63 Vibroverb Reissue.
I have a Vibrolux Reverb and SuperchampXD as well. Had a DRRI, a Mesa MK IV and recently an Orange Tiny Terror, played through all manner of amps with my Teles. I love Princeton Reverbs as well... and am thinking of finding one for smaller gigs.
I love my '69 Vibrolux Reverb, don't get me wrong! It is ungodly toneful.
But the Vibroverb is still the king of tone for me. Sweet, sweet mids, the ability to add sparkle easily by turning up the treble... the reverb is not on/off like some Blackface amps and the tremolo creeps on you like nobody's business! And it's one of the few big Fender Amps that sounds incredible at very low volumes... like bedroom levels. It's still creamy and fat sounding, not thin and weak like the 6l6 Blackface Fenders which benefit from some air movement!
Although, the '63 VVRI does require replacement speakers. I have Jensen's in mine currently, 1 ceramic, 1 alnico.
I have fellow players around town drooling over this amp every time I bring it out. I don't blame them. I never imagined I could sound this good.

Fender Blues Junior straight in, no pedals at all. A match made in heaven. Mic it up for gigs.

Hands down favorite with a Tele, my Vox AC15C1. And I have vintage a Bandmaster and Bandmaster Reverb as alternate choices. They all sound great, but the Vox sounds spectacular!

Went to rehearsal last night with my homebrew Tele and my Gibson GA15-RVT. Sweet!!!
A Tele through a cranked up pair of EL84's is not bad sound. (;^D)
And things get even better when I run it in stereo with my SFDR at gigs. Waves of Tone.
But tonight I'm headed to a lower-volume jam so it's my converted Esquire and the Mission 5E3. I've been using this rig for the past few weeks at this jam and it's REALLY nice. I've probably gotten more compliments on my tone with this setup than any other setup I've ever used.
Tele + Tweed = That Special Tele Tone
(and, yes, I realize I'm a very lucky guy to have these options)
