Anybody got a band-aid?

My son is 4 loves banging on the drums. I can play the basic rock beat and am an average guitar player. What do you guys think would be a good way to get him "started" on drums? Metronome in his ear while he is sleeping.

Very cool. I just started playing drums recently so by the time he is 5, he will be 10 times better than I am.

There are “kid kits” available, but I’d wait another few years before splurging on an entry-level kit for him. In the meantime, allow him to continue tinkering with dad’s kit, and encourage him to listen to *all* types of music to broaden his tastes.
