I bought a Classic Player Jaguar in CAR a while back. Played lousy out of the box, so I took it to a tech I have used in the past.

When I got it back, it was practically unplayable. I fiddled a bit and it was a bit better, but it ended up languishing in its case for months. Finally, a guitar-playing buddy recommended a tech that is a bit farther away, and I took it to him to see what he could do.

Wow! What a difference! He told me when he was done that it was the best playing Jag he had ever had in the shop, and boy, it is sweet now. He had to do some fret work (the biggest culprit, I think) and tweak the neck.

Now I have a great Jag and a new guitar tech!

I've got the identical guitar and it was also very poorly set up from the factory. I was lucky enough to find somebody to get it right on the first try.

Great guitar, once I got it set up to my liking.
I installed a roller bridge, and a Vintage Vibe bridge pickup.
