It's been a few years ago, but I used to own a 1956 Musicmaster w/ a Maple neck and aluminum pickguard and it had a light brown hardcase.

Just wondering what it could have been worth today?

Today it would be a re-fin or a restored guitar, not an un-touched survivor.

At the time I aquired the guitar the case was in very good condition, the guitar was only missing the frets, headstock logo and correct finish. Someone had painted it very badly w/Day-Glo floral arrangement. It seemed to have all the other right parts.

I wasn't in-like with it back then. But now it seems like it would be a neat little guitar to have around.
