I am new to singing but have reached enough improvement from zero, that I want to hear my voice amplified.Has anyone practiced through a guitar tube amplifier and what is your opinion,is this helpful?

I haven't sung through a guitar amplifer since the early 70's. Is your objective to hear your voice "amplified" or more to analyze it as a listener who's not singing along? If it's the latter then you might consider picking up a cheap digital recorder.

Thanks, maybe I'll try both if I continue to improve.
