I've been expanding my musical horizons lately and want to invest in a double bass pedal. Its used in quite a bit of my newer library of songs. Does anybody know of any good, cheap double bass pedals that our out there and for sale? Possible in the 100$ - 180$ price range?

For a new purchase in that price range, I’d suggest you look at one of Gibraltar’s double pedals. They make some good stuff.

If you’re willing to consider pre-owned, you may be able to find an older Yamaha, Tama or DW double pedal in that range. You’d just need to ensure that all of the bearings and springs are still in good shape. However, replacement parts are easily obtainable.

Pearl PowerShifter.

I’ve got two sets of them... one set on my kit and one set on my pad setup. The pedals on the kit have done heaps of gigs absolutely trouble free over the last 6 years or so.

They don’t have all the adjustments of the Eliminator range, but I like them setup exactly as they come out of the box anyway, so I have no need for adjustability that I’ll never use.

Smooth as, quiet too... and Pearl quality.
