Hi
I have two Jags: a '62 (Sunburst) and a '66 (CAR).
While the case on the '62 is definitely the original one, I wasn't so sure about the '66 - it looks similar to my early '70's Telecaster bass case (black). Neither Jaguar cases have Fender badges.
wasn't so sure until I saw these guitars on the 'bay: a 64 Jazzmaster that has a case like my '62 Jag, and a 65 Jaguar which looks identical to my '66 Jag.
It's hard to tell though, because I'm comparing two Jags with a JM and a Jag.
If my 66 Jag has the same case as this 65, it's highly likely my case is original?

Barry, your links go to the ebay homepage. Is that what you meant to do?

@BbendFender
no, the links are now broken because of the listings now being old/gone.
I have been able to ascertain that my 65 Jag case is original for a 65 case, but is probably for a Jazzmaster - by design/from factory. It's missing either the extra padding at the body end to push the headstock further along the case, or different neck support and matching extra padding at the headstock.
The tell-tale sign is the strap pin at the upper bout bashing into the side pocket of the case: it's not a snug fit by any stretch of the imagination.
At the moment I'm using that case to transport my Electric XII (it fits, mostly: neck support can be better) and looking for a modern ABS/plastic case because the Jag is my "Go-to" guitar at the moment so it doesn't need a vintage case to get to gigs. What I'm finding, however is that Strat ABS cases don't fit: the Jag offset body is too wide.

I believe the basic case form was(is) common for both guitars. Your case COULD be the original Jag case and is just missing the padded block that was inserted at the bottom of the case to account for the shorter scale. Wouldn't be the first time one of those blocks came up missing.
Nice guitar, BTW. My first "real" guitar was a sunburst Jaguar, although mine did not have the binding on the neck.
