I just picked up a Sonor kick drum at a thrift store. It needs heads. Where's the best place to get bass drum heads?

Sweetwater doesn't carry Remo heads, MF has a most confusing interface and I don't shop GC. Where else?

The question first asked IMO would be what and not where.
Once you know what head you want you can google it for the best price or have the local M & P order them in.

I've used various Remo, Evans, Attack and Aquarian heads... and they can all be made to work well.
But my favourite bassdrum combination is an Evan EQ3 on the batter and resonant heads (the reso with a 5" port) and an Evans Bass Drum EQ Pad velcro-ed inside resting lightly on the batter head.
Sounds great... tight and punchy but doesn't go on booming for days and for really live rooms I have a handy towel, tee shirt or down pillow to stop the thing if necessary.
