I closed a deal yesterday on a 60's Rogers Holiday 3 piece kit rewrapped in Teal Glass. 20, 16, 12 are the sizes. They have all original Swiv-O-Matic hardware. I got the cool top holder, bass mounted cymbal arm, the dass drum spikes, every thing.

I was able to locate 3 matching late 60's Swiv-O-Matic Sampson cymbal stands at reasonable prices and have an auction sniped for a matching hi-hat stand. All that remains is finding the snare stand and I'm done. I'll be using the tried and true DW 5000 pedal with the set so unless I find a killer deal I'm not going to invest the the period correct bass pedal. I plan to play this set.

I had a set like this while in high school only in red glass.

Pics soon in profile.

Nice! Congrats on your new (old) kit. I’m loving those tension rods on the bass drum — very reminiscent of the old faucet-style Gretsch rods.

I need a Lesie 45 to go with my Pro Reverb. Lets make a deal Rob. We forgot to discuss the 45 when we were up to out elbows in the AC30. I also have something for your concert that I think you can use.

Come and get it.

With the demise of the Scion, I don;t have any way to move it!

I'm sure we'll figure out something.

We always do.

Three period correct cymbal stands, Hi Hat stand and swiv-o-matic kick pedal are on there way to complete the kit. Drums should arrive Thurs. 5/5 just in time for the evenings rehersal.

Yes, lets do that. I'll email you when I get a chance.

Hammond, sounds like a very neat kit.

I have some spare parts I have considered making a little *Ringo Kit* out of ... Slingerland, not Ludwig, but what the helk.

BTW ... the 16" thin crash made the Jam here and seems/sounds like it will work out just dandy on my kit ;)

Thanks again for getting it here overnight :)

I'm glad the cymbal worked out for ya. It was touch and go whether or not it would get there overnight. It's nice when the plan works. I saw some pics of the jam a couple of days ago but didn't see drums?

Two cymbal stands showed up today. It's like Christmas around here. Bought another hat stand as the uppper rod and clutch were really clean. the bottom of the hat stand on it's was is clean so we'll make one really nice one and have some spare parts.

Drums just arrived at the office. Can't wait to get home and tinker.

I have a stupid property owners meeting to go to at 3:30 this afternoon. That puts a damper on ducking out early to tinker and set them up for tonight's rehersal :-(
