My daughter has a Yamaha P-95 keyboard. I want to give her an older and unused Peavey Audition 110 to use with the board. This amp is one of Peavey's transtube models. Would this SS amp be of any use for this keyboard?

Yes, i know the best option is a bass amp or PA. But, I don't have either and just want to give her this old amp to help increase volume in a pinch.

Sure, it’ll work. But be *extremely* careful on the amp volume. Most guitar amps are designed to handle instrument-level inputs. The P-95 only has a headphone-out jack, and that signal by its very nature is quite hot, as it’s really intended to drive headphones. Crank the amp too far and you’re likely to get a lot of unwanted distortion — not too desirable for piano sounds.
